Foreign Divorce

In the case where a foreign couple or a spouse, while residing in Haiti, would seek a dissolution of their union, they can petition the Haitian courts to enact such a dissolution. Bon Mamit can assist with the demand of such action. Also, if you were divorced in Haiti and wish to gain a copy of the divorce certificate, we welcome the opportunity to assist you with this service. Because foreign divorces are not handled by the Haitian National Archives, research for this document is less standard and the charge not fixed. Each case is evaluated on an individual basis.
